8395 Sand Dollar Drive, Windsor, Colorado

As an independent author and publisher, I often find myself stepping into other roles beyond the scope of writing.  For example, I’m generally the one to maintain my website, www.heirofkingmeldh.com.  Over the years I’ve learned that my expanding offerings as well as my customers’ needs require me to keep my website current.  I’m strictly an amateur web designer, but I find the work satisfying.  Web design is an art and feeds a certain need in my soul to create visual beauty.  It’s very different than writing, but satisfying nonetheless.

My sister has always complimented me on my website.  In July she flattered me by asking me to design a web page for her.  She is trying to sell her home in Windsor, Colorado and decided a splashy website would help her efforts.  She's used a realtor in the past, but decided to try her hand at selling it on her own.  The Internet has really opened up the opportunities for reaching customers.  The website www.8395sanddollardrive.com is up and I must confess I'm pretty pleased with it!  I experimented with a Powerpoint movie to make a virtual tour, which expanded my familiarity with that program.  Many people complain about Microsoft, but they do put out some fine software.  My sister also asked for my help in updating her property flier which is also available on the website as a PDF download.

This website really makes it easy to show off her property.  Check out the website and see what I’ve been working on for the last month or so.

I'm really pleased to have been able to help her.  Unfortunately, the web authoring work has kept me busy enough that I must once again miss a deadline for the release of Kriki's Gift.  I'm slipping everything by three months so the eBook version should be out by Christmas with the print version to follow.  I know my readers are impatiently awaiting the sequel to The Heir of King Meldh, so I promise I’m now diligently focusing on my writing! Thank you for your patience.
